Fujitsu Interactive Experiences

Spotlighting advancements in AI, Quantum Computing and Engineering with web-based interactive experiences

background

Fujitsu approached Affari during my time there with a challenge of creating an engaging and informative method of delivering complex content structures that revolved around their offers to governmental, private and public bodies.

my role

Learning about the subject matter and the overall challenge with the client, before delivering prototype experiences using basic motion designs before working with the motion team to create the final designs, implement, design and build the experiences with our development team.

We devised a number of formats of interactive experiences for Fujitsu over a couple of years. This was primarily due to the success of our first '3D City' experience. We enhanced this with 'day, dusk and night' themed experiences as well as a computing and engineering experience that took a look inside the facilities of the future and how Fujitsu's products could have impact.

Alongside assisting with concepting and overall style of the motion elements throughout these experiences, I designed the accompanying UI's and overall user experience based on conversations with the client about potential users and how it would be circulated in global marketing.

The original web-based experience was developed for events and displayed on an interactive TV screen and was delivered at pace for an event. We then developed a more robust version that was responsive and could be used across further formats, events and devices.

Elevating the original London Tech Week '3D City' with the dusk, day and night theme had a real impact with the client and enabled us to look into further themes in the future for these projects. The volume of content delivered on these sites was massive, so we needed a way of keeping the user engaged and interacting with what could be perceived as quite dull content.

We worked as a team to create beautiful motion design pieces that helped communicate complex product offerings in a simple manner, then bringing them into the overall user experience as touchpoints throughout the site.

We had some great feedback from the Product Delivery team for these projects as well: "We received great feedback from internal team members and our own clients on the installations, the experiences worked well and stood out in the labyrinth of tech companies and agencies. Acting as icebreakers, the video and 3D cities themselves provided us with the opportunity to offer self-directed experiences for users. This allowed audiences to explore our solutions independently, whilst freeing up representatives to engage others in further discussion."
